Date: Friday, February 8, 2019*
Time: 10:30am - 1:30pm
Convener: Tess Hartman-Cullen, SUNY Ulster
*Snow date: February 15, 2019
This lunchtime SIG will focus on a topic about Library Instruction. We will meet over lunch (BYO or join us for a deli order.) At this meeting, we will talk about revisions to the information literacy course. At her school, Tess had to make changes to address fact-checking and fake news on the web, and she will let us know how she accomplished that goal. As always, the specific agenda will be up to the participants.
If you would like a refresher on the conversations the group has had so far, you can find notes on the LibGuide here: http://libguides.senylrc.org/SIGs/Instruction. Even if you couldn't attend previous meetings or haven't been able to participate in a while, we encourage you to join us this time and meet your colleagues!
NOTE: The Information Literacy Instruction (InfoLit) SIG was formerly known as the Bibliographic Instruction SIG.
For Southeastern and other ESLN members, there is no cost to register for this meeting.
