Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2024
Time: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: online
Facilitators: Lara Sibley & Brittany Costa, Marist College
The meeting is open to you to share ideas, network, and re-connect. We will have a conversation between academic, public, and school librarians to talk about issues relating to how library instruction can help students transition to college. You can view the notes from the previous meeting here: https://libguides.senylrc.org/SIGs/Instruction
Do you have a classroom/library activity that you would like to implement or redesign? This month, we will have a couple of instruction activities addressing the “big ideas” ready to workshop in groups. We will ask participants if they would like to share their projects. At Marist, we recently workshopped our workshops as a group and we found it very helpful to get different feedback. We will start with those examples to get the conversation started.
This event is free for all Southeastern members and affiliate members. (Members of members.) The group will meet via Zoom.
