The 57th Annual Meeting of the Council was held on Friday, June 7 at Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York.
The meeting program included a brief membership meeting, an update on yearly activities, a catered lunch, and a panel discussion about the history of Urban Renewal in the Hudson Valley.
The panel included: Dr. David Hochfelder, Associate Professor, Department of History, University at Albany, SUNY, Mary McTamaney, City Historian, Newburgh, Wilbur Higgins, Resident, City of Newburgh, Diane Lapis, Trustee and Director of Special Projects, Beacon Historical Society, and Anthony Lassiter, Resident, City of Beacon.

Please enter campus at 330 Powell Ave., Newburgh NY. GPS may take you to other entrances, but this is the only entrance that is currently open. At the security gate, bear left to get to Hudson Hall. Parking is free everywhere on campus. The dedicated lot for Hudson Hall is between Sakac Hall and Hudson Hall. ***Note that we will NOT be meeting in the library building.***
The Hudson Hall Auditorium is on the first floor, one flight up from the ground floor parking lot. There is an elevator in the building, and if you require an accessible entrance with a ramp, you may use the parking spots next to the Kaplan Recreation Center and enter through the doors across from the tennis courts.
