- And an answer to the question: Does the “Freelance Isn’t Free” act cover contracts with LLCs or small corporations?
- Answer: In “Freelance Isn’t Free,” a “freelance worker” is “any natural person or organization composed of no more than one natural person, whether or not incorporated or employing a trade name.” The requirement of a written contract with the required elements kicks when the payment is over $800/year (whether due to one contract, or several).
