Call for proposals!
SENYCon is an annual conference to highlight the unique talents and skills that library professionals in the Southeastern region hold. This event is made possible due to an outpouring of enthusiasm from our members, and the event is open to all Southeastern members.
This year’s event will occur on Friday, April 4, 2025, with an inclement weather date of Friday, April 11, 2025. Libraries and library workers of all types are represented and encouraged to submit a proposal. This marks 10 years of SENYCon! If you have presented in the past, we invite to you to return and give us an update on your work. Brand new presenters are welcome as well.
About the presentations:
All presenters will be present at Southeastern’s office in person. We encourage short work summaries, so please keep it to 20 minutes or less. If you have a project suited to a poster presentation, we will also have space for you to display posters. If you are unable to present in person but would like to share your work via a pre-recorded video, that option is also available to you.
If you have a unique idea, clever work hack, best practice, or want to practice your presentation skills, we invite you to submit your proposal using the form below. Southeastern’s Continuing Education Committee will review the submissions and decide which will be selected to be part of another diverse and engaging day.
The deadline for proposals is Friday, January 24, Anywhere On Earth
